Care Tips

What should I consider when washing my Herrlicher clothing?

To ensure that you enjoy your favorite Herrlicher pieces for as long as possible, please always follow the care symbols on the label inside the waistband or on the inner side of each garment. These provide answers to questions such as: “Hand wash or machine wash? What temperature can the jeans or top withstand? Is it suitable for tumble drying, and can it be ironed?”

GENERAL CARE TIPS for Jeans

  • Jeans should not be washed too frequently, as even the best fibers can suffer from excessive washing. Washing too often also harms the environment.
  • Use detergent without bleach. For stretch jeans, always avoid using fabric softener.
  • Turn jeans inside out before washing to protect the outer surface.
  • To prevent threads and fabrics from snagging in the washing machine, close all buttons and zippers beforehand.

GENERAL CARE TIPS for Tops and Trousers

  • Check all pockets for paper or similar items, as these may cause discoloration during washing.
  • To prevent snagging of fabrics and threads in the washing machine, always close all buttons, zippers, and hooks before washing.
  • Iron delicate garments inside out to avoid shiny marks caused by excessive heat.
